Mireli- Remembering New Orleans

Going to New Orleans was a great experience. What stood out the most to me was the first day we arrived to the lower 9th ward. I was not too excited about the house our class was staying in. It all changed when we met Nat Turner and his group of students. They made me realize that I am fortunate and I should be thankful for what I have. I thank them for letting me know more about Katrina. I wish the best for all of them.
